Atlus Actually Plans To Reward CosPlayers
I've always been secretly drawn and yet repelled by cosplay. First off, it's just plain weird, mostly, and especially when done by Americans. Japanese cosplayers have turned it into an art form, really, creating astounding costumes out of what I believe is equal parts magic, glue, and insanity. And yet, I've been to a few anime cons, and I have to say I'm a little jealous of the chutzpah all those uber geeks dressed up. They look like they're having a blast, and the chance to be your favorite character, outside of the realm of video games, is really quite rare. Plus, on a narcissistic note, it would be a good chance to show off my hard-earned pecs.
Well, if you love to cosplay, and will be at the Anime Expo in Long Beach this year, Atlus has a surprise for you. Just go as your favorite character from an Atlus game (I would so go as Heat from Digital Devil Saga) and you can qualify for a special prize and/or giveaway. There will also be footage and panel discussions regarding Atlus' upcoming games at their booth. A word of warning though, they'll be taking pictures. Please don't horrify us.

Woahhh... I always thought about going as Serph, too. (Labcoat Serph, not the bodysuit...)
Oh well... I already decided I wasn't going to this...
Thank you Pirate for finding the scariest, most amazing, and most beautiful cosplay pic I have ever seen.
Ah! I'm not going to Anime Expo, but I'd love to break out my sewing/thrift shopping skills and be Narumi from Devil Summoner, or I'd totally be bodysuit serph, I've always wanted to dye my hair that color anyway.
