Blue Dragon Cutscene... In English!
This cutscene is heartening for a number of reasons, without giving away too much of the story. Voice acting actually seems to be quite good, a little element that can be underappreciated and then single handedly ruin the game (Stella Deus anyone?). The main character has had the usual anime dub treatment: while sounding quite young and boyish in japanese, sounds like a tough brat with way too much sugar in the english dub. Our hero can't sound... girly! Also, this means that we can't have much longer to wait until it releases and I love that at the end, when he attacks the giant robot a little window pops up saying, "Achievement Unlocked: Back Attack!" I just love when my games reward me for fighting cowardly.

Good dub?...With how well most anime series are done today (Stand alone complex, Full Metal Alchemist, Inuyasha) this is very early 90s Dubbing. Took me out of the whole scene. It felt very RE2 "Don't shoot, Im a human"
They used the same voices that are used for the "digimon" series of video games and anime. ^_^
Well, they used boy and girl voices but they look like lesbians and drag queens to me.
I think the "meh" quality has more to do with the character animation than dub. The dub isn't bad, but the characters don't emote well. They maintain one facial expression. Hopefully this is just a rough patch of the game.
The last time I went into a dark room and a mysterious voice told me to swallow something, I had to go to the free clinic after.
