Capcom Gets The Steam Treatment

Seems like everyone is jumping on the direct download bandwagon these days, and not one to get left behind, Capcom is joining the party too. Beginning later this week with Devil May Cry 3: Special Edition, Capcom will be offering it's PC game library for purchase on Valve's popular digital download service, Steam. Other titles coming down the pipe include Lost Planet™: Extreme Condition, Onimusha® 3, Super Puzzle FighterTM II Turbo HD Remix and any future PC titles that will be made. Capcom is the first major Japanese company to sign on to the download service and I doubt they will be the last.
i wish I had more time and inclination to play PC games so I could enjoy a service like this, but then again, I don't need any more excuses to not leave the house. My guess is that soon consoles will turn to this method for all their titles and one day games on disc will be a thing of the past. Kind of like my virginity and size 30 pants.
