Gamers Form Manhunt 2 Petition

This has clearly not been a good week for Rockstar Games' Manhunt 2, seeing as how it's getting banned just about everywhere and was given an Adults Only Rating by the ESRB, which means that Nintendo and Sony most likely won't allow the game on their consoles unless some of the content is toned down or Rockstar and publisher Take Two make an appeal. However, since there are a lot of people who would actually like to play the game as is on these consoles, and they've started up a petition to get the game published despite its AO rating. Their logic, when you get down to it, is pretty straightforward:
The American public has the ability to decide for themselves what software they wish to buy and would like to be given the chance to do so freely in the marketplace.
Personally, I wasn't a big fan of the first Manhunt title, but I do disagree with Sony and Nintendo's stance of not allowing AO-rated games on their consoles: not every game has to be family-friendly to be good, guys. But, hey, they're privately-owned companies and can dictate policies for their own products, just like the Boy Scouts can decide who not to include on their outings.

"But, hey, they're privately-owned companies and can dictate policies for their own products."
That is very true.
But exactly the same is true for Nintendo and Sony:
they're privately-owned companies and can dictate policies for their own products (aka their consoles).
So, I never played the original Manhunt, but all the hype about Manhunt 2 has me totally wanting the sequel. I mean, Rockstar games always does stupid shit to try and get press, but for some reason this one is working on me. Every country wants to ban it???
I WANT! I WANT! I WANT!
(I am a consumer whore. And how!)
Hey Boy of Tomorrow, what version of Manhunt 1 did you play? I've noticed that anyone that played it on the ps2/pc found the game to be dull, but everyone on the xbox (self included) loved the atmosphere and headset audio gimmic. As a stealth game it wasn't that great, but the team was able to create a game with more tension then I've seen elsewhere.
