LaRouche's Cronies Still Blame Games For V. Tech

Oh, Lyndon LaRouche, how I adore you and your Hitler Youth wannabes political supporters' antics. Most of this entertainment is born from the fact that there doesn't seem to be a conspiracy theory that you haven't liked since... oh, well, since ever. Seriously, you guys are the Jack Thompson of politics.
Well, what do you know? Apparently LaRouche and the Worldwide LaRouche Youth Movement are still blaming violent video games for the horrific shootings at Virginia Tech earlier this year, despite the fact that no games were found in the shooter's possession. You'd think that would, I dunno, prove to be a bit of a treebranch in their bicycle wheel, but they're just blaming a conspiracy for the lack of video game connections. Larouche Youth Movement leader Paul Mourino, appearing at the second Virginia Tech Review Panel, weighed in with the opinion that violent games were what motivated Cho to go on his homicidal rampage; not the fact that the guy was just messed up in the head:
In the aftermath of the Columbine High School massacres… Lyndon LaRouche joined such law enforcement experts as Col. David Grossman in demanding action against the manufacturers and distributors of violent point-and-shoot video games…Cho, the Virginia Tech shooter, is no exception, despite the near total media blackout of his involvement with violent video games, including “Counter-Strike.” News organizations like the Washington Post… confirmed his strong attraction to these games. Yet that story never appeared in print, and only accidentally showed up on a blog site associated with that newspaper…
These video games are creating menticide among the young generation… We also recommend that you shame, fine, or regulate all those private corporations who have participated in these projects. Proper legislation, designed to protect my generation from these games, is needed…
Yeah, whatever, Paul. Too bad it was revealed that Cho's Counterstrike "obsession" was from his days in high school, the Washington Post only mentioned it briefly on their news site before they decided it wasn't relevant enough to pursue, and his roommate confirmed that he didn't play video games. Personally, I'm more worried about the mental health of people in your group: any organization that resorts to brainwashing tactics in order to generate more money and membership can't be interested in the public good.

Oh dear, you've invoked Godwin's law.
LawlRouche. His subordinates are always on my campus recruiting.
I can't understand some people.
Videogames don't make people homicidal.
Violent, scheming, sociopathic people are homicidal, whether they play videogames or not.
People love to put blame where it isn't due. A man shooting up a school? NO! It's not his fault! It's those horrid games! So, let's make excuses for this lunatic shooter!
