Mega Man Goes Mobile

megaman-2-1.pngIf I know anything about games, something awesome just happened if the hero takes off the helmet and lets his or her hair just go crazy in the wind. Nothing says "badass" quite so much as flowing locks of hair. And if it's any indication, Mega Man II started out this way. This is the Mega Man game for the ages.

So Capcom, in celebration of 20 years of the franchise, has decided to bring it to your cell phone as well as Mega Man Star Force and Mega Man ZX Advent for the DS later this year. I'm never quite sure how well a game will handle on a phone, especially since any amount of play usually renders my hands useless aching lumps of flesh, but I trust Capcom will provide some element of game saving on the fly that goes beyond that awful password feature that Mega Man games seemed to hold onto for so many years. No matter how careful I was, I always seemed to put the wrong symbol in the wrong box when copying it down. And we all know how that feels.
