MMOLG?
Yes, you read that right. I think. There is a massively multiplayer online LEGO game headed your way. In 2008. And there aren't many details available as of now. See, I knew you read that right.
NetDevil, the guys that brought you Auto Assault recently announced that they are working on the tentatively titled LEGO Universe, which will unfortunately be "family friendly." Scheduled for a late 2008 release, the game will have the usual MMO trappings: your own designed avatar, with the ability for character advancement. Here's hoping the game will offer as much freedom in it's "universe" as the actual rainbow blocks offer, like the ability to "build" your own house, etc.
Until then, enjoy these super family friendly LEGO renditions of the Bible, like the one to your right, courtesy of The Brick Testament. Who knew the Bible could be so full of hot and sweaty testosterone?
Full press release after the jump.

BILLUND, DENMARK - June 7, 2007 - The LEGO(R) Group today announced LEGO Universe as the official title for the upcoming MMOG being developed by NetDevil(R) to further engage the company’s dedicated and active community. LEGO Universe, currently planned for launch in the fourth quarter of 2008, is designed as the first MMOG professionally developed for LEGO fans and supported by community members from around the world.
"LEGO Universe ties together all aspects of our community and line of products in an online environment that can be enjoyed by LEGO fans of all ages," said Mark William Hansen, Director of Business Development, LEGO Universe.
