More Fantastic Four Info

With Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer hitting theaters and game store shelves so soon, Marvel is kicking up its promotional efforts for the upcoming video game. This week, they're promoting the game's various levels over at Marvel Online, and I have to admit that I'm more than a little confused at some of the information provided:

"The Super Skrull is leading an army of Skrulls who are mining energy from the Earth's core, so we have a mixture of volcanic tunnels and caverns that are slowly being populated with Skrull architecture," explains Weaver.

The streets of New York and Shanghai also provide a unique backdrop to some incredible fights, whether against a nameless alien menace or Dr. Doom's aptly named Doom-bots. And no action-packed game would be complete without a locked-down military base swarming with robots.

Just out of curiosity, how do you mine energy from lava? Wouldn't there be better planets for that sort of thing? Also, why is Dr. Doom in Shanghai? Is he trying to get pirated DVDs? Also, will Galactus appear in the game as he does in the comic? Or are we only going to see the "large cosmic vortex" that's mentioned in the film-based novel?

Most of Iceland (being a volcanic island) is powered on geothermal energy. Cheap, clean and safe. It's not really "mined" though.

And girls who like girls who like rumble packs!
