Hey Everyone,
This week's comic is... well, it's this way because I had to scrap the original idea (which was already drawn) and then ran out of time to actually sketch out the new one because my job in the real world requires me to often work long hours on the weekend. But, funnily enough, this conversation actually took place this morning between myself and a friend of one of my neighbors. After her friend left in a huff, my neighbor brought me a sixpack of beer as consolation.
That logic just made my brain hurt.
Dear god...some people should be fixed before they breed, I swear...
Yeah, if pushing buttons (or even swinging around a Wiimote) is "practicing violence," then so is playing, um... shuffleboard!
Nice comic, BoT!
I dunno, I find watching someone get choked on TV a lot less disturbing than miming choking the life out of someone with (almost) first-person perspective and sound effects, and I can only imagine sawing off limbs would be a similar experience (though I really HATED Hostel and try to avoid movies like it.)
But that's why I've never bought an M-rated game for myself, I guess.
BoT, you've essentially summed up the argument in a nutshell. Well done.
