New MMO: Sword Of The New World

Damn my public education and its piss-poor history books! Not only did we have the science textbooks which hinted that we might "one day" go to the moon (seriously, I'm not kidding about this) but none of them mentioned the fact that European adventurers conquering America in its wild state got to fight dire wolves and walking skeletons. Thankfully, Korea is going to educate us of the real truth with Sword of the New World: Granado Espada... on a sidenote, is Korea's chief export MMORPGs? That's all I ever hear about from them. Honestly, this looks like a pretty standard MMORPG, but the visuals and setting certainly seem like a slight breath of fresh air. Unfortunately, very little information is available right now, but you can view the game's trailer after the jump.

I beta tested this, it's a GREAT game with a GREAT concept and art style. However, it falls a bit short in the depth category...
But yeah, you create a family and then family members. When you go into the world, you pick 3 of the family members to make up your team. You control all 3 members at the same time, it's a fun concept and is executed fairly well.
But yeah, for the beta test it seemed lacking in content. As far as I know it's going to be like Guild Wars, you pay to buy it then pay nothing to play it.
Did I mention how beautiful it is? The art style is great and I love the era they picked!
Bustle dress wearing mages!
I'm hesitant to try the MMOs that come out of Korean, they always end up being these massive grind fests. They're stuck in the EQ era and haven't evolved yet.
I also beta tested this... but I wouldn't agree with "Musashi445" that it was a great game, with a great concept. Though the art is decent.. The game itself as far as control and gameplay go is severely lacking.
It's a fanservice game, truly pretty, but not much more.
I play on the singapore server.
the game is 'ok'
a good comparison is guildwars, although you play in your own instance only during boss fights.
