Night Trap Week: Night 3 - Music of the Night
Welcome back for the third installment of Night Trap Week. If you are lagging behind, catch up with Night 1, and Night 2.
As the girls get settled in for the night of unspeakable terror, a SCAT team member enters through the back door. Notice the well-hidden security override cable sticking through the back door window. Clever boys, real smart. Our member is not too bright through, since he’s the first victim of the bloodthirsty augers. As the late, great Edith Massey once said in a thick Baltimore accent, “You can’t pick a winner every time.”
Poor Weird Eddie gets accosted by Jeff and cousin Tony on their way back into the house. Poor Eddie, will you ever get your comeuppance? Mr. and Mrs. Marin leave for the evening, and we cut back to the girls’ famous lip sync number.
Danny: “Sara your parents are leaving.”Sara: “So?”
Megan: “So?!?! Sara we’re in this huge house with all of your friends. We have telephones, we have a car, your parents are… gone, and you say ‘So’? “
Cindy: “So, what’s the first thing you think of?”
Chorus of Girls: “Party!”
God, it’s like the Babysitters Club wet dream come true. The girls bust out the title theme on boombox as Megan takes center stage. Notice Megan’s inner drag queen shine through her bubbly, feminine visage. She really shines in her moment in the spotlight, or should I say flashlight. This is their last moment of careless abandon, before the augers and the Martins exact their blood-draining plans. Jeff interrupts the festivities with news that security system has been hacked. The girls leave to their separate rooms as Jeff and Tony exit through the secret passage in the bookcase.
Make the jump for more bumps in the Night Trap Night 3.
Cut to the driveway as Collins the second SCAT team member shows up for a little of the “Old Jamaican number.” Then we are back for bathroom fun with Megan and Lisa. Christy Ford who plays Megan goes for comedic gold in this scene as she pretends she’s a struggling rat in a cosmetics lab. It truly saddens me to report that she never acted in film again after this game. Can I have a moment of silence for Christy Ford’s career that never was?.... Thank you.
We join the girls again in Kelly’s room as they share some juicy gossip about cousin Tony’s crush on Ashley. As she snoops through the closet, Ashley pulls out something that looks like it came from Pinhead’s ‘private drawer’. The doorbell rings and all of the girls rush to the door, except for Lisa who rushes back into the bathroom.
Undercover Collins shows up at the front door with the worst Jamaican accent since Ms. Cleo tried to steal Dionne Warwick’s night job.
Join us again tomorrow as we delve deeper into the interactive cinema monsterpiece, Night Trap.

"Night Trap!..Watch-out behind you..Night Trap!" I used to sing that as a kid..yeah I know I'm a dork. I thought the game was a great comedy.
i just love the part where the girl plays with the racket as if it were a guitar. Best full motion video sequence EVER
