Ninja Gaiden Sigma Demo Affects Final Version

ngaiden.jpg

Ninja Gaiden Sigma hits shelves on June 26th, but lucky PlayStation network users have been able to download the demo since April 26th and check out this highly anticipated game. The title is a remake of Ninja Gaiden Black for the Xbox with additional content, beefed up graphics and a new playable character all exclusive to the PlayStation 3.

Those who have been playing the demo have something to look forward to when they pick up the full version. Time spent playing the demo will be converted to yellow essence, the currency found in Ninja Gaiden. To say that the Ninja Gaiden series is notoriously difficult is an understatement of the grandest proportions. Any extra spending cash in the game should help out the player considerably when they begin the full version. Tecmo and Team Ninja haven’t released any details on the time spent playing verses yellow essence attained conversion factors, nevertheless any time spent playing ahead of time will help when the real game drops.

Has anyone out there played the demo? Feel free to post your impressions below.

Playing the demo was a blast anyway... but getting credit for it when the full game comes out? Sweet!

The demo is absolutely gorgeous. Lightning quick, responsive, and fun as hell. I still can't beat the stupid boss at the end of the level, but if I'm going to be rewarded for it when the full game comes out, it just might be worth giving it another try.

And girls who like girls who like rumble packs!
