No PS3 Games From Square Enix For Quite A While
Gamefront, a German gaming news site, is reporting that Square-Enix won't be releasing any games this fiscal year (which actually extends into March of 2008, just so you know) . Not only that, but Gamefront is citing an article written in Japanese, so there's no way I can use my very limited German to check their sources.
While this isn't exactly surprising, I'm sure there are a number of Squeenix fans who're bummed that they won't get to play another crappy Drakengard sequel, another lackluster Final Fantasy VII spinoff, or yet one more annoyingly repetitive Fullmetal Alchemist action-adventure title. Granted, Final Fantasy XIII will probably be great, but I suspect it's going to get pushed back past April 2008 before it hits store shelves.
