Paul Anderson Might Direct Spy Hunter

paulanderson.jpg

Dammit, why does Paul W.S. Anderson insist on raping the game franchises from my childhood? Apparently, the man has been approached to helm the upcoming Spy Hunter film, and based on what they're saying over at Ain't It Cool news, he's accepted the offer.

Don't get me wrong: Mortal Kombat and Event Horizon were both enjoyable, but everything he's made since then? Utter crap. Still, better him than Uwe Boll. At least Anderson's movies can, y'know, get actors on the set without trying to trick them via eBay.

I'll agree the first Resident Evil wasn't too bad. It was enjoyable, stuck to the storyline of the game. But the second? PURE CRAP!

The Resident Evil movies were not ment for Paul Anderson to push his crappy Mary Sue character on us all. I've seen 'Alice' before the movies came out, in all the many many bad Resident Evil roleplays and fanfiction.
