Sony Distracts Us With Ice Cream

haagendazs.jpg

In yet another bit of Sony-related weirdness this week, it seems that the corporate giant is hoping that we'll all be distracted with a simple case of misdirection: entering in the web address of All I Want For Xmas Is A PSP will now take a net surfer to the Haagen-Dazs website instead. I can't believe those jerks at Sony would stoop so low, I mean... ooooh... they have a Blueberry Belgian Waffle flavor?

I'm not sure I see this as "stooping low", but it's puzzling. Why didn't they just kill that URL?
