The Skinny On Naruto: Clash Of Ninja Revolution
The very friendly people at D3Publisher have unleashed some screens and a fact sheet concerning developer Eighting's upcoming anime ninjafest, Naruto: Clash of Ninja Revolution. Taking its story directly from the television series, this new Naruto game for the Wii will - you guessed it - take advantage of the Wiimote to allow up to four players to put their eyes out... I mean, to whip their wands around the room in a frenzy of... well, in a frenzy.
The game offers up nine gameplay modes including story mode, 1P and 2P score attack, 1P and 2P survival, timed attack, versus and 1-4 multiplayer versus - as well as more than 14 new characters with all new animations.
Personally, I'm waiting to see what the so-called "ninja-like movements" the game demands of me and my Wiimote before I'll commit to being excited, but this could very well be the closest I'll get to being a ninja anytime soon...

NARUTO: Clash of Ninja Revolution is an original Nintendo Wii game exclusive to the North American Market. Based on the hit series currently airing on Cartoon Network, this first game for the Nintendo Wii released in North America will include characters that have never been featured in the Clash of Ninja game series. The game will follow the storyline of the television series and will take advantage of the Wii Remote in fast-paced ninja action for up to four players in nine different gameplay modes. The next generation in NARUTO games will also include all new character animations, new interactive environments and special mini-games created exclusively for the Wii Remote.
