Toys "R" Us Super DS Game Sale
Our roving reporter Wootini has a hot deal for all you DS owners. so, instead of yammering on, I'll let him tell you himself.
So, Toys R Us is having a great sale on Nintendo DS titles. Not specific ones, but anything on the shelf. I thought there'd be a catch to it, but there's not. Any DS game on the shelf, buy two, get one for free. That's right. Free! Any game in stock. And it's valid on the website, too. Go figure.I swung by the Toys R US in Times Square, figuring it would have the best chance of having good games in stock (even at 3 for 2 I'm not going near Kim Possible). Granted, they didn't have the NY Times Crossword game I really wanted, but I managed to pick up Metroid Prime: Hunters (which I always thought was sexy) and Clubhouse Games (Which I never did get for Christmas like I asked, thank you very much, Santa), which meant that the DS Web Browser was eff-arr-double-eee. Which is how it should be. I couldn't justify spending $30 to do something I could do on my PSP for nothing. But for this price, I couldn't pass up the touch screen typing (something the PSP can't do). But hey, they had lots of stuff, from Animal Crossing to New Super Mario Brothers to some game called... um, Pokemon or something. I think it's big with the kids. Better hurry on over to your local shop and get what's good before you're stuck with Brain Boost or Spider-Man 3!
Thanks for the tip, Wootini and we look forward to hearing more from you in the very near future!

It should be noted that this sale can be stacked with the $9 clearance games...

Actually, it "can," but probably shouldn't. Because they will give you the cheapest game for free, it's probably best to buy the $9 ones separately. Make sure the three you're buying are all around the $30 mark, otherwise you're going to end up with a $9 game for free, which is hardly a bargain.
Of course, while in the store, I didn't even SEE any $9 games advertised anywhere... (but how $h!tty must that Pirates game be to already be in the bargain bin just a month after release?)
