Transformers: The Game Opening Cinematic

Now that Transformers are cool again, there's all sorts of pro-Transformers propaganda out there, from break dancing bots to awkward cosplay to...well, to porn, I guess.

But the best piece of propaganda (aside from a really cool Transformers: The Game tv spot I saw last night that ran like an ask-the-audience film ad) has to be this opening cinematic from the game. I know it's all CGI and that the game cannot possibly look like that, let alone on the DS or Wii, but dayum. I'm rethinking my anti-film-franchise-game position.

I recently gave a big lego version of optimus prime I had built myself to my godson and can tell you first hand, that he is way more colorful and, well, gay, than he looks here. Which is really unfortunate. I miss the bright colours.

Also, his eyes are red, not blue! BoooooO!
