Xbox 360 Crashing Claims Removed From Forza 2 Forums
At the Forzamotorsport.net forums, there were over 900 replies about Forza Motorsport 2 crashing on the Xbox 360. Then suddenly, the entire thread disappeared. At first, the thread was labeled “exclusive content for registered forum users,” but then it was allegedly removed entirely, even to registered members. While I'm not a Forza forum member, the folks at GameRush are, and here was one of the forum replies before it was removed:
"Add me to the list. Mine freezes up about once per hour also, although its been getting worse. Console is well ventilated and in horizontal position. I've had the freezing problem and the "To play this disc please insert into an XBOX 360 console" problem. It occurs at the start up screen, in the menus, in the races..every part of the game. Like most people on here, Forza is the only game that I've had this problem with. When it freezes up I get a clicking sound from the console like a CD player skipping. Its frustrating cause I'm really addicted to the game....when it works."
As a result of the thread's deletion, other threads have already been started. So it is a conspiracy by Microsoft? Regardless, Microsoft's PR had better start working on some damage control. Meanwhile, my fresh copy of Forza 2 is staying untouched until this mess is all fixed...

If it is Microsoft that deleted that thread, that's very bad customer service. It seems to be a ongoing pattern because the SNK forum also deleted threads that pointed out the Card Fighters bug but did it a angry manner and didn't kiss their butts.
