E3 07: Guitar Hero III One Song Hands-On
Unfortunately, the teeming crowds that seemed to surround the Guitar Hero III demo wherever we saw it (and not to mention some piggy players who wouldn't relinquish the guitars) kept me from checking it our until the very end of the conference. Indeed it was the very last thing I did at E3! Two things made it awesome though, I got to play Barracuda AND I was lucky enough to go head to head with Psyche, one of the gorgeous Frag Dolls, and got my ass soundly whipped (at the game).
Of course, i was busy trying to pay attention to being a rock star, but I did get to look at the interface long enough to see that they have revamped some of the graphics like the little rock meter and your star power meter. I don't think there is much you could do to improve upon the awesomeness of Guitar Hero besides adding new songs and sprucing the graphics up a bit, so in this, RedOctane and Activision have succeeded. Look for Guitar Hero III to hit store shelves this fall! Rock out, brothers and sisters!

Sorry, I meant Activision... My poor brain is fried from E3, I don't know my Konamis from my Activisions..
Is guitar hero a very American thing? No one I know in the UK plays it.
