E3 07: MGS 4 Trailer

The trailers we've seen for Metal Gear Solid 4 up till now have been a mite confusing, but this one, shown at yesterday's Sony press conference, has a bit more meat to it. I'm not quite sure how I feel about old Solid Snake. I always thought he was the hottest guy with a mullet I'd ever seen, now, not so much. But Raiden, however, is looking mighty fine with his new half cyborg look and showing some serious posterior action.

As a side note, Kojima hiself told us that this would be the final MGS in the Solid Snake storyline and also the last MGS title that he will be working on.

I'm a long time fan of the series and all but...uh... is this a stealth game anymore? Wait, no...I'll take that back. Is this a game anymore?

I'm so tired of "trailers" and "teasers" that have what will be a playable character doing things that you know you won't be able to perform in the game. I know the MGS isn't the biggest or most frequent offender, but it's testing my patience. Add to the fact that we're a year after it's first show and still not seeing gameplay footage and all we're getting is Vamp (the weakest boss of MGS2 which had the weakest bosses of the series) coming back to throw down the biggest dance-off/fight with Raiden? Kojima, I love your work, and I know that this doesn't represent the game, but I really want to see something that represents this game.

I actually liked Vamp :)

Anyway... when did raiden train under Yoshimitsu from Tekken? I mean Namco could sue for copyright infringement :D

i don't know about anyone else, but that raiden fight at the end was probably the porniest thing i've ever seen from a video game. ever.

yeah Pirate Prince I was expecting them to kiss at the end.... you think Kojima read our 20 gayest characters thread and decided to amp up gayness a bit?

... that was the most homoerotic fight I have ever seen.

.. The fanfics are already writing themselves.

I don`t like the look of Vamp here... And this games, as good as it might be, ist still no reason for me to get a PS3 -__-°

Further I think that fight is a bit... well... lemme say Metal Gear and Kojima know how to override law of nature in a very stilish way. But this one is a bit too much IMO.
Yes, you can see they used that flamenco-dancer for vamps movements, but it just overshoot the mark a tiny bit. Not to mention the whole "we are invincible" part.
