E3 07 Video: Foster's Imagination Invaders
I have to admit: I'm a HUGE fan of Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends. I'm not ashamed to say that I still watch cartoons, and not just anime which is borderline acceptable in today's standards of mature, adult pastimes. But what's not to love? Foster's is uniquely and lovingly animated by the people that brought us the ever popular Power Puff Girls, and one of the best written cartoons (heck, TV shows) out there. If you've never seen an episode, you really owe it to yourself to check it on Cartoon Network, for my money the best cable channel out there.
I was a little nervous before I saw the video that this would be yet another shoddily done TV cartoon based video game but it actually looks well done and fun, although much remains to be seen. Looks like you control the adorably bratty and self-centered Bloo and his human boy Mack as they try to rescue Madame Foster from some hulking alien "Imaginary Invaders." The game itself is in 3D yet closely follows the look of the show in one of those "search-around-the-platformy-mansion-and-uncover-clues" kinda games. With animated movie clips of the charming cast of ragtag imaginary friends losing their marbles and running around like hyperactive sugar-rushed maniacs, what's not to love? The love between a boy and his blob is a wondrous thing indeed.

Besides The Venture Brothers, FHFIF is my favorite cartoon on TV. unfortunately they weren't showing this game at E3 but I'm hoping for Comic Con!
For the DS? WOOOO HOOOOOO!!! :D
If you'd told me this was gonna be on some console I don't own, I'd be crushed.
Even better, no need to wait for PAL release. Import time! :D
