Fatal Inertia Makes A 360
Remember when Fatal Inertia was going to be one of those oogly-eyed launch titles for the Playstation 3? Back when we were all looking at images of a sweaty boxer's slowly deforming face, each droplet of sweat and blood like a revelation? Then Koei Canada, the company behind Fatal Inertia, announced that it would not be a PS3 launch title and that it would also be available on Microsoft's XBOX 360.
Well, now it appears that that crazy futuristic racer isn't going to really have anything to do with the black Sony behemoth. Koei Canada in a recent press release has announced that FI will be released on September 11th of this year (could they choose a more star-crossed date?) and only for the 360. That's right, not even a mention of a later date for the other system.
What happened here? Did Sony drop Koei Canada's racer due to Wipeout similarities? Did Koei Canada decide not to pursue the game for the PS3 because of low sales? Conspiracy theorists are dying to know. I think it has something to do with Ken Kutaragi and the alien princess of the Grays developing secret technology through studies on Loch Ness that started on the grassy knoll with a young Bill Gates. Think about it.

Only heard about this game recently and checked out some gameplay clips. Having been spoiled by the blistering speed of Wipeout: XL and Burnout: Revenge, this one looks rather disappointing and, frankly, kinda generic. It looks beautiful and I'd love to play it, but....the SPEED! What happened to the speed? It plays like a pregnant cow! :(
