If you have had your eye on some hot import action from overseas, now is your time to stock up because Play-Asia is having a huge sale. Hey PSP owners! Jealous of EBA/Ouendan? Then checking out the DJ Max Portable games might be worth your while. It's basically Beatmania/DDR, but it's got a good soundtrack and a nice variety of difficulty modes (4, 6, and 8 button modes).
I checked out a Japanese demo of DJ Max Portable 2 and I really liked what I played. Be warned though, it's a rhythm game on amphetamines. Seriously fast, seriously fun.
For fans of puzzle games, this is a great chance to take the leap and buy one or more of Nintendo's bit Generations GBA games. I bought all 7 last year from play-asia for use on my DS Lite and have been slowly working my way through them. So far, Orbital is my fave -- cool concept and elegant game play. Check 'em out!
