Indie Hotness: Everyday Shooter Heads Over To PS3

Jonathan Mak’s delicious musical shooter Everyday Shooter will be heading over to the PlayStation 3 via the PlayStation Network. Already host to Jenova Chen’s beautiful indie title Flow, the PlayStation network will hopefully continue to support the independent community with more titles to come.
Everyday Shooter is an interesting little abstract game where players shoot down aggressive geometry. What would usually sound like a symphony of explosions is replaced with harmonizing guitar riffs over an all guitar soundtrack. The action is frantic while the soundtrack is quite calming.
Here’s what Mak had to say about his game before heading off to E3 this year:
“Nothing I’m doing is specific to the PS3. I try not to buy into using new technologies simply because I feel that old technology is already so rich. It’s sorta like how an acoustic guitar, while being very simple, is still very expressive. That’s how I feel about old technology.”
Check out the PC version of Everyday Shooter on the official site.
