It's A Wonderful World, I Guess

After the brutal, soul crushing news that Persona 3 is not shipping today I desperately searched the gaming blogs for some good news. Alas, there really isn't anything to replace the gaping black hole in my heart, so I'll just resort to my basest feelings and engage in unadulterated envy. That's right, this week Japan is getting It's a Wonderful World! Let alone has been able to play Persona 3 for a year AND the fact that the special release FES (adds an extra storyline and 30 hours of gameplay) is only available to them since Atlus announced they will not be working on localizing it.
It's a Wonderful World is Tetsuya Nomura baby-lovechild and the same team that worked on the Kingdom Hearts series worked on this DS action RPG. It definitely looks unique and interesting--with a mix of urban-style art, teenagers with odd hairstyles and clothes, a modern day city setting, and a focus on music, this is definitely a DS game to remember. And know that you can't play it anytime soon because no American release date has been announced. So nurse your drink of choice and peruse some pretty pictures. Join us, Les miserables!

Atlus hasn't said they won't be localizing FES. They just said there are no current plans for it. That's the default thing to say no matter what. It can still come over provided they sell enough copies of Persona 3.
If Atlus of USA doesn't bring us FES, Persona 3 will probably be the very last game I ever buy from them. I'm tired of video game companies throwing out extras after a game has already been finished.
People should stop supporting companies that do that silliness.
But is Dragon Quest all that anymore?
oh, magic pink... your optimism is really heart warming! :)
i really don't think there's even a glimmer of hope. but i'm a hardened cynic.
