New PSP Colors And A Few More Details Revealed

Remember those fabulous colors (Piano Black, Ceramic White, Ice Silver, Rose Pink, Lavender Purple and Felicia Blue) that Toots was lusting after for the new PSP Slim? Well here they are for your eyes to feast upon. On my initial assessment, I agree with Gizmodo in that the varying colors worked great for the DS, but not so much for the PSP. Something about them just seems..."off." However, I can appreciate the irony in playing the upcoming God of War: Chains of Olympus on a Rose Pink PlayStation Portable. At any rate, I do like Ceramic White and Ice Silver...might even go after the Piano Black if it's the only one left. I'll cross that bridge when I get there.
Thankfully, new colors weren't the only things revealed. Thanks to website 0okm, a few more specs about the slimmed down PSP been spotted in the manual detailing what will be inside. For that and a large pic of the PSP Slim's backside, make the jump.

Woohoo! You made it! OK, as promised, the additional specifications for the new PSP as outlined in it's manual are pictured above and listed below by Gizmodo:
- Its TA-085 PCB motherboard is homebrew-conducive.
- USB can be used to charge the battery.
- The battery has been shrunk from 1800mAh to 1200mAh, but retains hour rating.
- Old PSP remote is not compatible.
- WLAN switch has been relocated to top.
- TV-out cable is not included.
To look at more pictures and details of the new PSP, follow this link. Pretty much the only thing I don't like is that the battery life remains the same. The exclusion of a TV-out cable was only natural and expected, at least by me. Still, I would prefer to have a longer battery life over a slimmer system, but it's pretty spiffy that you can charge up your PSP via a USB port. ...and now, for the backside of the sexy new PSP.

pfffftt! Felicia Blue?!?!?!!!! XD
"There's two things I don't like about you, Felicia: your face!" I love that that quote is germane.

I followed the link...only a mere 5 to maybe 6 hours between charging....I'll continue to pass until they get it to a much more reasonable frame
