Video: Final Fantasy XII International
I wish I could say that I passed Final Fantasy XII, being one of the most perfect and well thought out games I have ever laid hands on, but it came at a bad time. No sooner had I clocked in 40 hours than Xmas reared it's ugly head, and alas, I got a Wii. Since then it's been all about Twilight Princess, Wario Ware, and Super Paper Mario. But I still wake up every day with the intention of going back to that beautiful Twelve, especially since I've made it my life's mission to pass every single Final Fantasy game.
Here's a look at Final Fantasy XII: International, that thing Square-Enix seems to do with all of it's big games, and presumably lines Squenix's coffers from sales in Japan. Imagine your favorite game with a bunch of added bonuses, and streamlined to boot. It's no wonder super fans of the states always clamor for the International releases. Although this trailer shows a bit more movie scenes than I would care for, there's a look at the English and Japanese audio. Most importantly, we see the "Zodiac Job System" and some new license boards, although it isn't clear what the relationship is between the two of them. Are Virgos good at magic? Tauri good with two handed swords?
It's also exciting to see Larsa and that other guy available now as playable characters, an elemental absence that was almost a crime in the original release. Start salivating fanboys, and pray you'll have your shot at buying this one. As for me, I'll be finishing Super Paper Mario today, so I can get that one step closer to joining back up with my old friends the Sky Pirates.

I'm guessing tradition will continue in that those of us outside of Japan won't get to play this piece of sexiness in English. Just great...
This edition has what the original is screaming for: a job/class system!
The open-endedness of the character development in ffxii was kind of lame imho, and actually I think one of the developers kind of agrees with me if iirc from the interviews on the dvd from the collector's edition.
Anyway, I seriously doubt it will come to the states.
