Video: Infamous

Lost amid much playable hubbub was Sony's announcement of Infamous, which looks a bit like a mix between GTA and City of Heroes/Villains. This choose-your-own-destiny "modern action adventure" title from Washington-based developer Sucker Punch is a lonely standout PS3 exclusive in a sea of multi-platform releases.

The game was well underway by the time Heroes hit the scene, but there's a lot of that ethos in the game - whether you use your powers for good, evil or something in between is up to you in this sandbox-style universe in which you are suddenly graced with super powers. Look for it in 2008.

There's been some good stuff lately on the PS3 but Im still not getting one until:

1. The games get released - you never know if they might make the jump to the 360 or the PC instead.

2. The game have been proven by reviews. We all know how hyped up games can be. ;)

Lonely Standout PS3 Exclusive? Are YOU trying to make a point? Jesus, do you need your gay glasses cleaned? Haze, Unreal and MGS4? Did you happen to miss these? They're all very important games and yet they are also all PS3 exclusives. But then again I guess that's besides the point, right? That's why you have to point out the fact that no one at gaygamer has or wants a PS3 in every post you make. A gay xbox360 fanboy? How sad.

****: Yowza. Maybe switch to low-sodium Cranky Flakes? Tiny's just pointing out that exclusives seem to be a dying breed, and that it's cool to see the remaining exclusives get special treatment, since they *are* riskier investments, whether they're for the 360 or the PS3. No, he didn't list every PS3 exclusive in the post, but why would he?

If they had an anti-ps3 bias, the gaygamer writers wouldn't mention their lack of PS3s so often, would they? Sounds to me like they're aware of the gap in their coverage and want us to know that it's only because not everyone can afford all three consoles. Would it be better if they just never mentioned the PS3 at all? THAT would be biased!

And if Tiny were a 360 fanboy, why write something nice about a PS3 game at all? Whiny comments from someone who won't even use a *real* fake internet name smell a lot more like fanboyism to me...

wow - someone needs to take his meds and calm down.
goes to show that some people on the "tubes" like to focus on "lonely" while the rest of us pick up on "standout".
besides, this is GG.net. they don't hate the PS3. you must be thinking of Kotaku. j/k ;)
