WoW Boasts 9 Million Served
The monster that Blizzard built has snared its nine-millionth paying customer (I wonder, did that dude/grrl get something special?) with more than 9,000,000 souls shelling out money to adventure in the three year old pay-to-play MMORPG.
Said Blizz co-founder and president Mike Morhaime:
"We're thrilled that gamers around the world have continued to embrace World of Warcraft so enthusiastically... We've worked hard to provide a compelling experience for our players, and we plan to continue updating the game with exciting new content for them to enjoy for many years to come."

i wonder if, since there are 9M subscribers, and GLBTs make up approx 10% of the population, that means that there's 900K GLBTs playing WoW?
