Bioshock for PC Demo Available

With my Xbox slowly decomposing in my entertainment center, I still await the coffin. Without my 360 I'm stuck with a pre-order slip from Gamestop and a puddle of tears. There is a small glimmer of light at the end of this tunnel as the PC demo of Bioshock was finally released. Available through the usual channels, you can download this demo through Steam and FileShack, and most likely a few other major file hosting services.
Little to nothing has changed between the PC and 360 versions. Having played both the demo runs the same length and covers the same basic introduction to the game; two plasmids, some basic coverage of the ecology of the game, and a couple breathtakingly cinematic areas to explore. Even the same physics glitches exist between the two. If you do not have a 360, and a fairly beefy PC (see the system requirements) I highly recommend, nay demand you download this. The download is just over 1.8GB and is completely worth the time it takes to snag a copy. I was pleasantly surprised as to how well it performed on my rapidly aging desktop. It is a definite must download for anyone who is considering buying the retail
version today.

Gah...much as I'd love to play this game on PC, my MacBook Pro just doesn't meet the minimums. I might boot into Windows and try the demo, just to see, but after seeing the game on my 360, I may have to bite the bullet and try slogging through the whole game with (shudder) a controller.
Must...play...Bioshock...
