Digimon Games Go Gold

Anyone feeling the urge to send little monsters into battle for themselves will be happy to hear that Namco Bandai has announced today that they have just gone gold on three Digimon titles, all of which will be available on September 18.
Digimon World Data Squad is for the PS2 (they're still making games for that antique?), and players can use over 140 different Digimon to defeat Seven Demon Kings and rescue kidnapped children. So it's for a good cause, then. The game will feature cell-shaded graphics as well as voice acting from the cast of the upcoming Digimon Data Squad cartoon series.
Digimon World Dawn and Digimon World Dusk are the titles to be released on the Nintendo DS. Stop me if you've heard this one before. The two games will run parallel with different selections of Pokemon Digimon to collect and use. Two rival groups are trying to save the world from a disaster devolving the Digimon back into digi-eggs. There's a turn-based battle system so you can strategically position the game's 400 Digimon for maximum combat efficiency. And through local WiFi or via Nintendo's WiFi Connection service, players can battle each other and obtain rare Digimon found only in certain versions of the game.
Now, I never even finished all of Pokemon: Diamond, but if you have, these might just satisfy your tiny little monster sweet tooth!

I know this is lame, but digimon is my favorite anime. I have all the dvds, and the originals recorded via vhs.
the only thing about the games, is digimon was intended for MMORPG elements, and they have yet to take it further than the normal rpg.
Ill be playing these, as I do all their games, but they really need to figure out the MMO thing. They had started it on the Sega Saturn with online fighting, but never went any further.
