DVR And Digital Tuner To Come To PS3
The head of Sony Computer Entertainment New Zealand, Warwick Light, recently told The Press they are “hoping next year... to release a digital tuner for the PS3, turning it into a programmable TV recorder." Light hopes to deliver this product early next year to coincide with the New Zealand launch of the video-on-demand service Freeview,
There is no word yet if PS3 DVR capabilities are coming to the States, but keep your fingers crossed and hope this doesn’t turn out like the PSP VoIP service in the UK.
