Gamespy Brings PS3 And PC Gamers Together For Unreal Tournament 3

Unreal Tournament 3 is coming to both the PC and PS3 in November, with a beefy online presence. Now with Gamespy’s recent technology agreement with Epic games, the two families of gamers will finally be able to play with one another. The technology agreement has allowed Gamespy to include various cross-platform support from PC, to PS3, to Xbox 360, in the latest version of the Unreal Engine 3. Gamespy is hosting a bevy of fabulous features such as matchmaking, leaderboards, stat tools, community tools, and competition applications.
I hope that there is a company out there that would support a full cross-platform title, of PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. It would be a great unifying moment, bridging the gap between so many platform-specific gamers. There is a possibility that when UT3 hits the 360 early next year, that wish will come true.
