No Miami Jack On Dr. Phil

Yesterday, we reported on the story that Dr. Phil was planning to record a show about violent video games and how it would feature a game violence "expert," which had many of us worrying that a certain bottom-feeding attorney would be making an appearance on national television. Well, it turns out that we were right to be worried, because that's who Dr. Phil's show was going to bring on... however, Miami Jack himself is saying that the episode will now be focusing on the addictive nature of RPGs instead, so he won't be making an appearance. Yesterday, on GamePolitics, Jack posted the following:
I got a call yesterday, and they decided to take the show in a different direction, with the focus on role-playing game addiction. They have a girl who has that problem.
So, another inconsequential talk show about addictive MMOs (or something) and no television time for You Know Who. Crisis averted. Sorta.
Dr. Phil Invited Me, Says Jack Thompson [GamePolitics]

I don't know much (Okay, anything) about Dr. Phil, but just the fact that he would even consider having good ol' J with him cuts him down to nothing in my book.
Ditto here. I was sort of neutral on Dr. Phil, but that he actually thinks Jack Thompson is an "expert" has caused my opinion of Dr. Phil to go into the sewers.
