PlayStation Home On The PSP

HomeLair.jpg

Wouldn’t it be nice to take your Home with you, wherever you went? Sony has plans to do just that with PlayStation Home and the PSP. John Koller, head of marketing for SCEA recently told MTV that they are hoping to sync the PS3 virtual online world with the PSP in some respect.

"Intuitively, if you take the PSP with you, you would want to take some of Home with you," Koller also noted, that may mean having an extra room rendered in the PSP.

Nothing is set in stone yet, but it sounds like Sony is planning on expanding Home beyond the confines of the PS3. I expect they will add even more cross compatibility between the platforms.

Home is currently in a closed Beta of 15,000 users. They will switch to an open Beta of 50,000 users in August, while gearing up to launch the service in October.

And girls who like girls who like rumble packs!
