Prince Of Cosmos Teases DS With Monstrous Cameo
Namco Bandai isn't afraid to swap characters from game to game to give their fans a little surprise titillation, but this little cameo happens to be a first on several counts (I believe. If I'm wrong, call me out!). Here we see the Prince of the Cosmos, who makes the first Katamari cameo and the first appearance of anything Katamari on a Nintendo system.
The game? Dragon Tamer Sound Spirit, a DS game which so far has a November 1, 2007 release date in Japan. No word of a release in the Americas or Europe as of yet, but as you can see, the Prince's head has been attached to an evil dinosaur! Or something.

On Tekken: Dark Resurrection for the ps3, you can customize outfits.
Lily has a headgear item entitled, "Prince"
I selected it, and the price is on her head, holding on. AMAZING.
While this is not the first cameo, it's still bad ass.
The expression in the first picture looks like something out of Kuso Miso Technique.
also there is a bandai/namco "spot the difference" type of game called "Quick Spot" where the prince makes an appearance. though i'm not sure that counts because you don't actually play as him.
not because i enjoy calling you out or anything BUT ... i forgot Pac Man World Rally - the kart racer. I believe there is a Katamari themed level and if I'm not mistaken the Prince is unlockable in that game.
