PS3 For $350, Upon Credit Approval And Blu-Rays Out The Wazoo

Cheap Ass Gamer and our own Super Timsy have scrounged up the deal of the year. SonyStyle.com is offering $150 off of any purchase over $299 with approval of their Sony Card credit card. With the recent $100 price drop of the 60GB model, it brings the price down to a manageable $350 plus shipping and tax.
The $150 credit will be applied to the card from 8-12 weeks after purchase. Since they are offering an introductory 0% APR for the first year, you won't rack up financing charges while you wait for your credit.
To make your deal meal complete, Sony is also offering five free Blu-ray movies with proof of purchase of either a Blu-ray player or a PS3 from anytime between 7/01/07-9/30/07. The selection is kind of shoddy, but at least they are free.

I managed to escape both tax and shipping this past weekend! The PS3 should arrive very soon. As for the selection of Blu-Ray titles, it was very disappointing especially when you can only choose one title from each category. Corpse Bride, Blazing Saddles and Phantom of the Opera (gorgeous but nothing beats the stage production) all sat in one group, I easily would've taken all three. Sadly, I could only pick one and I went with Corpse Bride. Anyways, if you happen to need an altervative credit card (like me), this is an excellent opportunity.
Thats £172.25 ex tax. Thats the price of a Wii over here. You can't get a PS3 in the uk for less that £400. Totally unfair! Screw you Sony!
GRRRRR! *fumes*
*mutters* uk gets shafted again *grumbles*
It was free shipping last night too so I got one!! Thanks for the heads up!
