Riddick Is Missing The 2007 Window
Starbreeze's remake of the killer Chronicles of Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay is going to miss the 2007 launch window. The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena is being developed for the Xbox 360 and the PS3. Published by Sierra, the company said the title will be pushed back to 2008.
While the game was easily one of the most solid titles on the Xbox, some fans were disappointed that the remake was essentially the same game with some extra chapters added before Riddick arrives at the big house. The developer is mum on the details concerning the delay. Some have speculated that they are expanding the content of the game to deliver a more meaty final product.
I hope so, my only issue with the first game was the length. It wasn’t long enough for my tastes, but I think I could handle a few more rounds tacked on here and there. Take your time, it’s too good of a job to rush.
