not that I've seen many of the episodes, but I have seen this first, I've also read that the series is really not very good- also it really strays from the game and the characterization REALLY strays from the game. So if you're planning on playing the game, I'd wait on the anime- as much as I hate to type that.

Now, I admit I'm fully in love with this game. But something about this anime reminds me of the god awful half-assed Darkstalkers and Street Fighter cartoons they shipped over here back in the day. Blue Dragon the RPG I'm utterly stoked for...this cartoon? Passing on.
