Tabula Rasa Pre-Order Bonus Pack Ships
NCsoft has begun shipping the pre-order bonus packs for Richard Garriott's Tabula Rasa, also making it available for download at PlayNC.com. The pre-order pack nets you a three-day head start when the game goes live, exclusive in-game emotes (what, I can't /handstand?), exclusive in-game pets, access to the beta test and a DVD with the game client, bonus wallpapers and concept art.
This might be worth it for the beta access alone. Thanks to an NDA relaxed for press only, I can tell you that Tabula Rasa is shaping up nicely, and offers a nice change of pace from the wizards and unicorns that populate the MMORPG landscape. There's also a captivating spine of a storyline that most MMOs don't necessarily have, and lore that's tied directly into your progress in the game.
