Video: Freshly-Picked Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland
Come on. Who doesn't love Tingle?
Gametrailers.com just posted another new video of some gameplay footage from the wild, wonderful and weird Freshly-Picked Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland, and you know you want to click play. Go on, you know you'll love it. It's Tingle! Prancing around collecting Rupees (just don't ask what he did to get them!) to make his tower grow bigger and bigger! (What? Sometimes a tower is just a tower...) And it also has the most awesome music. Not sure if it's just for these clips or if it's actually in the game, but who wouldn't want to play a game with this kind of smooth European free-form jazz sounding tunes? Dig it!
It's coming out September 14th in Europe, which means its already been translated into English. So why must we suffer? Why must the US go without Tingle? I need some Tingle! Please, Nintendo? Pretty please with sugar on top?

Effin awsum. Go Tingle you sassy minx.
Actually... A lot of people don't love Tingle... In fact, quite a few people dislike or even despise Tingle. While I don't necessary despise the character, I'm not much of a fan either. I find him rather annoying and a bit strange, somewhat off-putting. He doesn't really seem to fit very well with most of the rest of the Zelda universe. However, this game does look like it could be pretty fun, so I wouldn't mind seeing it come to the US, and if it's any good I'll probably pick it up.
I thought the whole point of Tingle was to not really like him. I mean, he's an annoying crazy old guy that thinks he's a fairy. Which is what makes the RPG so appealing! You finally get a glimpse into the psychotic mind that is Tingle. I think that's worth a few bucks.
I imagine Tingle sounds a lot like Dr. Smith from the old "Lost in Space" show.
