Wait A Minute - Microsoft Dumps E For All Too

e-for-all-expo.jpg

In all fairness, Sony's decision not to participate in the E for All Expo was mirrored by Microsoft, which also chose to focus on E3, GC Leipzig, TGS, CES, DICE and GDC. And, in all fairness, that's a crapload of shows right there.

The E for All Expo runs October 18-21 in Los Angeles, and has been heavily supported by Nintendo, as well as Konami, Bandai Namco and THQ. But with both Microsoft and Sony out of the picture, and companies like Capcom, Sega and Midway missing from the roster (not to mention SCEA's own Little Sister, SOE), is E for All hamstrung before it exits the gate?

You've got to wonder how much money is being poured into an event that seems at the moment to only involve one-third of the game industry - and whether or not that investment will fall on its face. Or, conversely, will E for All become a stateside Nintendo-dominated event that fluffs the already-hyped casual gaming, family-friendly, Mario-studded furor?
