Weekly XBLA Update: 08/13/07
It's a simple but solid week for the XBLA, as our friends at Xbox advise us to "Heat Up Your Brain with Hexic 2 and Cool Off with Ecco the Dolphin this Xbox LIVE Arcade Wednesday!"
If your brain gets overheated from Hexic 2, you might want to sip some water from your spilly-cup and take a breather, but either way you'll be able to play the hell out of this addictive puzzler from Carbonated Games. This Wednesday. 800 Microsoft Points. Be there.
If 400 Microsoft points and cetacean love sounds more your price range and order of mammal, you might find yourself swimming alongside Ecco the Dolphin, who's cresting the wave of a comeback lately - what with his showing on the VC and now the gold standard of downloadable content, XBLA.
Me, I don't need a game to hit things with my head - I find that a real-life head-butt nearly always does the trick. Just ask Toots.
Building upon the addictive gameplay of its predecessor, "Hexic HD," the highly anticipated sequel "Hexic 2" (Carbonated Games) offers new special pieces, challenges, additional formations and an innovative head-to-head battle mode!
