Zoo Tycoon 2 Makings Its Way To DS

Simulations can be tons o' fun like the giraffe pictured to the right and Sim City (to which I am addicted to). One that appeals to many simulation fanatics, but unfortunately not me, is the Zoo Tycoon series which will make a triumphant return to the Nintendo DS with Zoo Tycoon 2. The press release makes mention that the original Zoo Tycoon on DS sold over 500,000 units since launch. That's a lot more than I imagined.
Moving on, the title will allow gamers to create their own zoos and stock them up with various things like animals (of course), all sorts of construction and initiate different activities with the DS Stylus. There will be three game modes "including Zoo Designer Mode, Zoo Director Mode and all new Zookeeper Mode which gives players the ability to view and care for three-dimensional versions of animals." You will also be able to exchange zoo data with others via multicard play and compete to see who builds the best zoo.
Sounds fun, but I'll wait to hear from you who buy the game. Speaking of which, has anyone tried out SimCity DS? Full release after the jump.

I have Sim City DS and it's not worth it. The loading time is long and you can only have one city. Only one. If you want to start another one you have to save over your current city. It's just not fun.
