GamerDad Suffers Heart Attack, In Need Of Help

Here's the thing: GamerDad is one of those sites which has done a lot of good over the years by making a point of educating parents about video games and promoting the idea that they should, y'know, actually be involved with their children and pay attention to what their children are playing. I know, it's a new and frightening idea, but Andrew Bub (the man behind the site) had a heart attack earlier this month and has had to undergo a couple of very serious surgeries... one of which apparently took place this morning. Andrew's wife, Linda, has asked for readers to support the ailing writer because the medical help is a major financial burden:
Over the past four years GamerDad has published so much. Look over the site, loads of game reviews, and countless other articles about gaming. He's appeared as a spokesman, and in countless newspapers, magazine articles, and radio programs defending gaming with your kids - or at least that being involved is means good parenting. But he's never written an article directly asking for your help.So I'm going to do it for him. Please give until it hurts (unless it hurts your family).
I'm sure I speak for everyone here at the site when I say that we want Andrew home and well as soon as possible, and I would encourage everyone who can afford to help out to kick in at least a few bucks to the Bub family.
