Ground Control to Major Nelson: No TGS Due To Missing Passport
I hate airports. Everything about them just seems like a massive hassle for me. I constantly worry that I'm forgetting something, the whole taking off my shoes in public thing and don't get me started on the no liquids on the plane thing. As one might expect I don't travel much. Every time I've left the country I've driven. There are countless horror stories of people leaving the country and facing huge problems. Major Nelson apparently was no exception to this.
Yesterday morning while attempting to leave for Japan, Major Nelson was unfortunate enough to discover his passport missing upon needing to present it to leave on his flight. After searching all his luggage he discovered it was, in fact, gone.
Where was it? Did I lose it? I doubt it. Was it stolen? most likely.Either way, it's not in my possession.
Ultimately this means Major Nelson will not be able to attend the TGS this year. Thanks to the papers required to get a replacement passport, the time it takes to get a replacement passport and travel time he is left with no option but to stay behind. We are assured that TriXie and VideoMonkey will still on their way and will be providing coverage for Xbox.com.
