Import Mother 3, For Cheap

If you just can't wait any longer for the fan translation of Mother 3 to surface, check out this hot deal on one of the longest-developed console games ever created. Mother 3 has been on and off of development for almost 10 years, beginning as an full 3D title on the Nintendo 64 and ending up as a sprite-based 2D game for the GBA. Play Asia is offering the game for a measly $14.90, instead of the usual listing price of $48.90.
From the description on PlayAsia:
Mother 3 is set in a land called the Nowhere Islands. Chaos ensues in the Nowhere Islands after an invasion by the Pig Mask Army, humans in uniforms that resemble pigs. The Pig Mask Army is named for its creator, The "Pig King". The Pig Mask Army slowly constructs a police state, while performing bizarre experiments on the land's flora and fauna. The invaders also introduce new technology and infrastructure to the islands. The story unfolds in different chapters. The various chapters of the story record the trials and tribulations of a boy named Lucas, his family, and friends, who reside in Tazmily Village and band together to rid Nowhere Island of the Pig Army's influence.
The game is set in chapter form and follows a different set of characters by switching the perspective of each chapter. I will warn you, the game is text heavy. If you don't plan on following a translation guide, you better break out a textbook to brush up your hirigana. Check it out soon, the offer expires in 6 days.
Reminder: Mother 3 is Cheaper Than Water [4 Color Rebellion]

Not to nitpick too heavily, but the entire game is actually in hiragana.
