Jealous? She's Beaten Halo 3 Already

francescareyes.jpg

Games Radar, who shares offices with the Official Xbox Magazine, has an interesting interview with OXM Editor-in-Chief Francesca Reyes. Obviously a big fan of the Halo series (aside from the fact that it's her job to be), she talks about visiting Bungie, getting her ass kicked in multiplayer and what it's like to be the first journalist to play through the game. As expected, she reveals nothing ground-breaking because the info is all under embargo until her 10-page review hits stands on -- surprise -- Sept. 25th.

However, as a Halo expert, she does offer some insight into the things that Halo fans can expect: an ending that's not "Halo 2," which can be interpreted as "not disappointing and abrupt" (since she likens Halo 2's ending to the feeling of "being stood up at the prom") as well as better graphics than what players saw during the beta in May ("If you were disappointed in the beta, well you got nothing to worry about," Reyes says).

Regardless, it won't be too long before you find out and judge for yourself...

I guess I don't see what people always seem to be complaining about in regards to Halo 2. I found it to be of appropriate length, a highly enjoyable experience, with an ending that left me wanting more and excited about the next installment.
