More NiGHTS Details

Are you feeling dozy? Want to take a nap? Well, be careful, some crazy jester thing might just fly into your room while you're sleeping and invite you to come on an adventure with him! Yikes!
SEGA has released some more details about the sequel NiGHTS: Journey Of Dreams, which is supposed to be out on the Wii by the end of this year, though rumors have pushed it into 2008, so don't get your hopes up too high. They're promising a two-player mode and network support at lauch. So once you exchange some annoyingly long friend codes with your buddies, you might be able to join them in a flight around Nightopia. Maybe. They're also bringing back the Artificial Life feature, which lets you capture and raise the inhabitants of Nightopia. Ooh, and you can "combine" them too, which makes me wonder what kind of crazy Frankenstein monsters you might be able to come up with!
(I also suspect that the "network support" promised at launch will be used more likely to trade creatures with your friends, and any 2-player flying you do with your friends will be split screen...)

the only person that better be flying into my room at night while i sleep is Wootini! I'll leave the door unlocked for ya.
Mister B. Natural NO!!
Oh, Mr. B, shame on you, have you no sense of decency!
